The Nursing Research Liaisons are members who act as a link from the Regional Nursing Research Committee to the dedicated teams at the local medical center. They are responsible for promoting nursing research/evidence-based practice activities. Their goal is to formalize the Nursing Research infrastructure while also ensuring that local and regional nursing research activities are visible at each medical center. The purpose of the liaison role is to collaborate with nurse scientists, staff nurses, and others to identify researchable nursing problems and lead evidence-based practice.
