Program Evaluations

Nurses and other healthcare professionals seek to provide the best possible patient care and are often involved in the creation and monitoring of evidence-based patient care/safety programs. Nursing leaders are in need of user-friendly models and tools to determine the critical elements needed for customized program design, implementation, and evaluation. Various individuals within the SCAL Nursing Research Program have developed the following documents to assist in meeting this need.

These models and tools can be used to conduct a gap analysis to determine if the organizational/unit structures and processes are present to support the initial design/implementation of evidence-based patient care/safety programs or the modification of current programs.
