Patricia A. Hokenson, RN, MSN,CNS is currently the Clinical Director for Maternal Child Health at Kaiser-Ontario.

The Southern California Nursing Research program will like to introduce Lauren Kartozian, RN, as the 2011 Nursing Research Fellow.
Lauren Kartozian, RN, MSN, is currently the Department Administrator for Labor and Delivery, Antepartum Testing Center and OB Case Management at Kaiser-Anaheim. She has many years of experience in perinatal nursing both as a bedside nurse and as a manager. She was selected as the 2011 Nursing Research Fellow and will focus on simulation training and the concept of “suspending disbelief.” She has been involved in Critical Event Team Training in the perinatal area since 2005 and is very interested in identifying effective methods for simulation training in the clinical setting. She considers this Fellowship to be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about research and is very excited about working with the members of the Nursing Research Department.
